Born in Istanbul in 1976, he grew up in Izmir. Moved to Istanbul in 1995 and he still lives there. Following his graduation from Bosphorus University Department of Economics, he stayed in Istanbul. He currently works as a consultant in a private firm.

He started shooting photos in 2005.

He participated in the 150th term Basic Photography Seminar in IFSAK (Istanbul Photography and Cinema Amateurs Club) and became a member of IFSAK in 2008. Upon his membership, he joined the training department of IFSAK.
